Now, more than ever, it’s easy to focus on the negative. We’re in a global pandemic and life is just not the same. We’re living, seeing and hearing stories of pain, suffering, and loss. And although it’s important to feel these things and stay informed, these stories can start to take a toll on our sense of hope if we’re not careful to balance them with something else.
That something else is the good in humanity.
Now, more than ever, we can also see and hear the many stories of compassion, love, and kindness. And now more than ever, it’s crucial we keep these stories alive, in our thoughts and in our hearts. We need hope to get through this, and these stories bring us hope and help us restore faith in humanity.
Today, for Feel Good Friday, I wanted to share 5 of these stories that I’ve recently come across. I hope these stories remind you that there is still so much good in our world, that people are kind, and that we’ll get through this because we’re all in this together.
