Floral Wallpaper — I’ve never been one for wallpaper. We had it in our childhood home, and I can vividly remember, as a teenager, struggling to help my mom remove it from our walls before we repainted. She would tell me to never, ever wallpaper my walls. She was preventing me from having to deal with it being such a pain to remove. And she was right. And for someone like me, who changes their mind often, that whole difficult-to-change part about it posed a bit of a problem for me. So, I listened.
And that’s what I’ve been doing, staying clear, until recently. I’ve been noticing that I’ve been gravitating towards wallpaper a lot more lately – floral wallpaper to be precise. My Pinterest feed has been full of these bold and beautiful spaces, and I can’t take my eyes off of them.
I’ve been thinking of adding a touch of them to my space. Not in a major way, like the walls of an entire room – I don’t know if I’m ready for that type of commitment! But in a smaller way, like the walls in the bathroom or an accent wall in the office. I can see how these pretty prints can really transform a space, and I’m sooo here for it!
Now, it’s about deciding what type of look I’m going for. I’ve been really liking the darker, larger print florals. But, the softer, lighter, smaller prints could work really nicely as well! So many lovely choices to choose from!
