Monday Muse — I have a confession to make. I’m a pretty cheesy hopeless romantic. Yep. It’s true. And often, this translates into watching really corny hallmark or made-for-tv movies. You know, the ones with the same storyline – small town girl leaves her big town job to visit her hometown and falls for this super handsome small town beau – that storyline. So predictable. So. cheesy. But just the perfect dose of feel-goods I need every once in a while.
This weekend was one of those in-need-of-some-feel-good moments, which brings me to today’s post – Tulips. That’s it. That’s the post. Tulips 🙂
Over the weekend, I watched Tulips in Spring. A sweet little movie about a girl who leaves her interior design job in LA to return home to her family’s tulip farm. Besides the majorly handsome Lucas Bryant *heart eyes*, the tulips are what really took my breath away. All of the pretty colours, rows and rows of them as far as the eye can see – yep, I think I’d like to live on a tulip farm right about now. The dreamiest!
I’ve loved tulips since I was a little girl. Hence the whole Tulip and Sage thingy. I still remember walking to school as a child, holding mom’s hand, and noticing each and every tulip in each and every front yard we would pass. They just captivated me – even then. There’s just something about them. Their understated elegance. How incredibly stunning they are but quietly stunning. Just lovely!
And it couldn’t be more symbolic of the springtime, which we’re officially only a week away from! I can’t even believe it.
For all these reasons, I’m sharing my tulip crush with you today. Browse through for the prettiest blooms! And enjoy today’s tulipy muse! Have a good one, loves! xx, Amanda
