Voted the Prettiest Little Town in Canada, Paris, Ontario is a place I really hope to visit this summer. In just over an hour’s drive away from Toronto, and with a title like that, it’s no wonder this town is number one on my destination list this season. I mean, don’t we all just want to go to Paris?? 🙂
With COVID restrictions slowly starting to loosen, I’ve got the serious travel bug. I can’t wait to get out and explore. I love my city, but I’ve been starting to feel especially cramped and claustrophobic as I look around at the concrete that surrounds me. I’m missing nature. Bad. And just want to get away.
As far as I know (the changes happen so quickly, and I’m never 100% sure I’ve got the latest), travelling internationally is not yet allowed here, but travelling within the country is fine. And, truthfully, I’m okay with that.
I don’t think I’ve mustered up the courage to travel internationally yet after the pandemic we’ve experienced – and still are going through here and globally (it all still feels so unreal, doesn’t it? So hard to believe this all really just happened…). But exploring my big and beautiful country is something I’ve always, always, always wanted to do. And now couldn’t be the more perfect time to do so. As soon as it feels safe enough to do. And from the looks of it, it may be really soon *fingers crossed*.
I’d love to see every little town in Canada, and what I’ve always dreamed of doing is road-tripping from one end of the country to the other. I’m excited just thinking about it! But for now, I’ve got my eyes set on Paris. And who knows, I may just fall in love with a property out there and have my very own little place to stay. A girl can dream. But dreams do come true, amirite?!
A major pro from this pandemic → how it’s got me believing that ANYTHING is possible. And I’m holding on to that.
