I’ve added it to my self-care routine, and it’s become one of my favourite ways to unwind after a stressful day. A 20-minute colouring session often takes my 10 on my stress scale down to a 3 or 4 – a simple way to reduce my anxiety while also having a bit of fun.
Why self-love affirmations?
I’ve struggled with a lack of self-love ever since I could remember. I know you can relate, my fellow serial self-hater. Because of this, I’ve learned to incorporate self-love affirmations into my daily life. I’ve found them to be really helpful.
Each morning, I choose a positive affirmation (they’re often self-love related, but can be about anything you’re wanting to improve on) and read it aloud a few times. I do this daily. And I’ve noticed a real positive shift in my thinking patterns and self-esteem.
