We always look forward to seeing what’s new in the fashion world each season. And with the start of spring just around the corner (can you believe we’re almost there??), we can’t help but notice these springtime looks arriving in stores and online.
Here’s how we shop for seasonal trends:
- We look for pieces we can wear for seasons to come (this season’s cinched blazer trend, for instance, can be worn again and again whether it remains “on trend” or not).
- We look for pieces that complement our current wardrobe (items that pair well with our other clothing and can help create more outfits).
- Our goal, always, when buying anything is to make sure we’ll get some serious use out of it. We try to stay away from items we won’t be able to use more than once.
Shopping this way saves us money, space (our closets are not overflowing with items we’ll only use once), and waste (items we’re using again and again means we’re throwing away less, which is better for the environment).
